I'm prepared to attend some talks in Spanish, albeit very informal, with the stipulation that I'm not an instructor by any means. I also need some help of my own with a legal action against a foreign firm, and the translation of some legal documents.
I've attended a spanish conversation group through the free school in santa cruz and there it was very informal with folks at different levels - some were near-fluent, others intermedia, and i was beginner. Our conversation averaged out somewhere in between our levels. It just depends on the group, I guess.
How about we do a trial run at the upcoming gathering on November 17th? Or if someone wants to facilitate a meeting earlier? We're about to print out the calendar for November so if you set some dates in the next day or two, then they'll be included in it.

Sooooo... IS there a spanish conversation get together? I would be interested in this.. my spanish is horribly rusty - I'd like to break it out again and practice.

Estoy listo a asistir a algunas pláticas en español, de tipo muy informal, con la estipulación que no soy instructor de ninguna manera. Cuando dices "mucho", ¿cuánto es "mucho", aproximadamente? Y cómo es su nivel actual de conocimiento de la lengua, aproximadamente?
